We Buy Surplus Industrial Cable in Iowa

Industrial cable is where surplus gets interesting. A plant upgrade leaves armored MC, tray cable and shielded instrumentation cable on reels that will never be used again; a panel shop over-orders VFD cable for a drive package and keeps the remainder; a wastewater project closes out with PLTC and control cable in five colors.

Overview

We buy that material: interlocked armored MC and AC, tray cable and TC-ER, VFD and drive cable, PLTC, control and instrumentation cable, shielded and paired constructions, and flexible industrial cord. Jacket print, voltage rating and the shield type are the details that let us quote accurately.

Quick quote: the fastest route is a photo of the reel, a photo of the jacket print and the city or ZIP. Call +1 (614) 715-3047 if you would rather talk it through.

Condition

C

Condition, packaging and what we pass on

We quote what is usable and say plainly what is not.

Armored cable is bulky and easy to damage; we look at whether the armor is crushed, kinked or rusty. Tray and control cable are judged on jacket integrity and how the reel has been stored, since UV exposure and water sitting in a coil both shorten life.

Short cut lengths of MC and VFD cable are still worth listing. Panel shops and maintenance crews buy them, so a 60 ft coil is not automatically scrap.

Iowa

D

Industrial Cable from Iowa businesses

Iowa's manufacturing base — advanced manufacturing, fabricated metals, ag and construction equipment, food processing and bioscience — produces a steady flow of industrial cable surplus. Plant electrical crews in Waterloo, Cedar Rapids, Ames and the Des Moines industrial suburbs are the usual source.

Data centre and logistics construction around the metro areas also generates tray and VFD cable remainders. If your material came off a specific project, say so; project close-out stock is often cleaner than warehouse shelf stock.

Questions

E

Industrial Cable: questions sellers ask

Do you buy MC cable in short pieces?

Yes, if there is enough of it to handle. Twenty feet is a phone call, a hundred feet in tidy coils is a real quote. Photograph the coil and the armor print.

What if the armor is rusty or dented?

Surface rust on steel armor is common and not fatal. Crushed or waterlogged cable is a scrap conversation. Send a photo of the worst section rather than the best one.

Do you buy VFD cable without the reel tag?

Yes. VFD cable is usually identifiable from the jacket print and the shield construction. Give us the conductor size, the number of conductors and the approximate length.

Will you take mixed control and instrumentation cable on one pallet?

Yes. Mixed pallets are normal in plant close-outs. A photo of each spool label is the fastest way to get a line-by-line quote.

Still unsure whether your material fits? Call +1 (614) 715-3047 or email saleselectricalbuyers@gmail.com.

Have reels, spools or cut lengths to move?

Send the wire type, footage and a few photos. We review every request and reply with a quote or a clear no.

Tell us what you have

No obligation and no cost to ask. If the material is not a fit, we will say so plainly.

Request a quote for your surplus wire

Tell us what the wire is, how much there is and where it sits. Photos of the reels, jacket print and wire ends let us give a real number instead of a guess.

1 · Your contact details
2 · Where the wire is located
3 · The wire and cable
4 · Quantity and condition
5 · Details, access and photos

Select several photos at once if your phone allows it. Overview of the reels and spools first.

Jacket legend, reel tag, conductor ends and any damage. JPEG or PNG, up to 10 MB in total across both fields.
